A salvage crew goes down to a rig that stopped transmitting nine days ago, and the recording they are sent to recover has been overwritten by something that learned how. The horror is procedural in structure and hand-authored in detail, which is an unusual and expensive combination.
Resource-scarce underwater survival where light is the only weapon and the only thing that attracts attention. No combat. The creature audio was field-recorded rather than pulled from a library, and the game is quieter than you expect right up until it is not.
Your lamp is navigation, tool and beacon. Everything that finds you found the lamp.
Water and fog handled by a single material across every depth, which is why it runs.
Every creature vocalisation is field recorded. None of it is in a library you have heard.
Binds for character navigation and positioning.
Attack triggers, secondary aim, and weapon reloads.
Skill activations, ultimate execution, and utility binds.
Scoreboards, mapping widgets, and overlay displays.
Standard match without rank pressure.
Ranked, skill-based lobbies.
Fast matches with random power-ups.
Free-for-all aim training.

"The audio is the achievement here. I turned the lamp off to hide and the game got worse, in the way it intended."
"No combat, no ammunition counter, and more genuine tension than any horror game with both."

It is quiet for long enough that you stop trusting the quiet, which is the whole design working.
