Published by Vermillion Row · PC · Switch
One night in a market that exists only between dusk and dawn, and a debt that has to be settled before it closes. Three endings, all written before production started, none added afterwards to pad a marketing bullet.
Conversation, movement and a clock. Every exchange costs time, the market shuts at dawn whatever you have done, and the branching is written in Ink so every path was playable from the commit that introduced it.
Time is the only currency. A conversation you take is a stall you do not reach.
All outlined before production. None of them is the good one.
Fourteen characters, frame by frame, in a game where you mostly stand still and listen.
Binds for character navigation and positioning.
Attack triggers, secondary aim, and weapon reloads.
Skill activations, ultimate execution, and utility binds.
Scoreboards, mapping widgets, and overlay displays.
Standard match without rank pressure.
Ranked, skill-based lobbies.
Fast matches with random power-ups.
Free-for-all aim training.

Three hours long and I have thought about it for three weeks, which is the trade I would make every time.
Beautiful, brief, and entirely uninterested in padding itself out to a price point.
