How Community Works

A Structured Network. Not Another Chat Room.

The GzoneSphere Community is a professional networking space designed specifically for the gaming industry. Unlike generic platforms where conversations get lost in noise, it is built around structured branches, each with dedicated modules for different types of interaction. Every conversation has a place. Every contribution has visibility. Every member has a path to meaningful connection.

Think of it as a professional campus with specialised departments, common areas, and event halls, not a single crowded room where everyone talks over each other.

The Branch System

Every Domain Has a Home.

The community is organised into branches, one for each of the seven professional domains, matching the seven sub-profile domains. When you enter the community, the branches that match your sub-profiles are highlighted and surfaced first, so you’re automatically guided to where you belong.

Two universal branches

Alongside the domain branches, the community plan includes two branches open to everyone regardless of domain. These are not live yet.

    Open to everyone. Platform-wide discussions, off-topic conversations, introductions, and cross-domain collaboration. The common area of the community.

    A dedicated safe space for new members. Get oriented, ask questions, find your first connections, and learn how the platform works. Staffed by experienced community guides.

What’s Inside Each Branch

Five Modules. Each Designed for a Different Type of Interaction.

Every branch contains five core modules. Each serves a distinct purpose. You don’t have to use all of them, start with what feels natural and explore the rest as you settle in.

  1. Module 01

    Channels

    Real-Time Conversations

    Topic-specific chat rooms within each branch. Every branch comes with default channels (#general, #news, #help, #off-topic) plus domain-specific channels. Channels are public within the branch, and moderation is active, community guidelines are enforced.

  2. Module 02

    Guilds

    Focused Collaboration

    Smaller, topic-specific rooms within a branch. Open or private, “Unity Developers India” or “Indie Game Jam 2026 Team.” Every guild has its own chat, member list, and shared resources.

    Use cases
    Study guilds, project teams, regional meetup coordination, interest-based rooms, mentorship circles.
    Versus channels
    Channels are branch-wide and open. Guilds are focused and can be private. Channels are the public hall; guilds are the meeting rooms.
  3. Module 03

    Callouts

    Find Your Team

    A board of open requests for people: teammates, collaborators, mentors, partners. Every callout is linked to your profile, so your skills, trust score, and domain rank are visible. It adapts to each domain, and it sits next to the guilds it feeds.

    Esports callouts
    Real-time live lobby. Find teammates for ranked play, tournament squads, or practice partners. Filter by game, rank, region, availability.
    Dev callouts
    Smart recommendation board. Find co-founders or contributors for game projects. Filter by tech stack, experience, project type.
    Art callouts
    Find collaborators for commissions, game jams, or portfolio projects. Filter by art style, tool proficiency, availability.
    Writing callouts
    Find co-authors, editors, or critique partners. Filter by genre, experience, project scope.
  4. Module 04

    Showcase

    Show Your Work

    A curated feed where members post their best work, game builds, art pieces, music compositions, writing samples, stream highlights. Not a social feed. A professional portfolio the community can discover.

    Open Gallery
    Anyone can post. All submissions visible in the branch feed.
    Spotlight
    Community-picked highlights. Weekly picks, monthly contests, quarterly grand showcases, sponsored challenges.
    Key rule
    AI-generated content is not allowed in Showcase. Only original, human-created work. It protects the feed’s integrity as proof of real skill.
  5. Module 05

    Events

    Always Something Happening

    Branch-specific events: game jams, writing contests, art competitions, community tournaments, AMA sessions, workshops, and collaborative projects.

    Who can create events
    Members at Hustler level or above. Admin-created events are highlighted as official.
    Event types
    Competitions, workshops, hangouts, tournaments, collaborative projects, community milestones.

Everything You Do Here Builds Your Identity.

Community posts and discussions
Contribute to your XP and trust score. High-quality contributions are upvoted and recognised.
Showcase submissions
Appear on your profile as portfolio items. Spotlight features are permanent achievements.
Callout connections
Successful team formations build your networking history and trust score.
Event participation
Counted as achievements. Contest wins are recorded permanently.
Moderation contributions
Positive moderation builds trust score and unlocks moderation privileges.

Community Standards

Respectful. Professional. Inclusive.

Three principles: be respectful, be professional, be inclusive. They are held up by three layers of moderation.

  1. Layer 1

    Community Moderators

    Experienced members who volunteer. They can warn, mute, and escalate.

  2. Layer 2

    Admin Moderation

    Platform administrators handle escalated issues and policy enforcement.

  3. Layer 3

    Automated Systems

    AI-assisted spam detection and content filtering. Always human-reviewed for final decisions.
